Jean-François emerged triumphantly from the cellar carrying one of the most prestigious wines in the world. The label was slightly worn, adorned with dust and delicate strands of spider web. With trembling hands, he brushed it clean and read aloud with emotion: “Romanée-Conti, 1990.” A tear slowly rolled down his cheek.

He stepped closer to the window to admire the deep ruby tones shimmering with purple reflections inside the precious bottle. Lost in admiration, he failed to notice the cat sleeping peacefully near the balcony. One careless step on its tail shattered the silence with a piercing cry.

Startled, Jean-François lost his grip. Time seemed to freeze. The bottle spun through the air as he lunged forward desperately to save it. His head collided with the Louis XV commode, sending two of his teeth flying toward the ceiling — but fate was kind. In a final heroic movement, he caught the bottle just in time.
