Figurine of The Veterinarian
AED 900
the Story
Doctor Edgardo Cigno, a strict professional at “The Happy Pet” veterinary clinic, was known for his no-nonsense approach to his job. “I treat real animals, not toys!” he would tell his assistant. But one day, his rule was put to the test. A little girl, teary-eyed and clutching a teddy bear with torn stitches, begged for his help. “Pwease dotor, can you save ‘im?” she pleaded. Despite his initial reluctance, something in her innocence melted his resolve. With a sigh, he took the bear in hand, announcing it as a “case of extreme emergency.” For the next half-hour, he meticulously stitched up the toy bear’s wounds—its stomach, feet, ear, and tail—until it was as good as new. Proud of his work, he handed the bear back to the little girl, only for her to pull out her next “patient”—a completely flattened slug named Paquita.
