Nour Keyrouz
Nour Keyrouz Makhoul (born June 18, 1992) is a Lebanese self-taught painter whose work bridges abstract expressionism and modern surrealism. Coming from a family of artists, creativity runs in her blood and has shaped her artistic journey from an early age.
Nour’s artistic path began with a passion for interior design and home decoration, which soon evolved into a deeper exploration of life, the afterlife, and the human soul. Her paintings express a desire to detach from materialism and uncover meaning through color, form, and emotion.
Working primarily on large, bold canvases, Nour creates visual experiences that act as emotional stimulants, inviting viewers into imaginary worlds filled with depth and symbolism. She believes that art transforms spaces—reflecting inner truths and turning ordinary environments into sanctuaries of thought and emotion.
Her signature style embraces vivid color complementarities, with shades of blue playing a central role in her visual language. Inspired by nature’s smallest details, Nour paints stories of harmony, contrast, and spiritual reflection. For her, the canvas is a sacred space—a realm of freedom where reality dissolves into intuition and feeling. Each piece becomes a journey inward, revealing fragments of her evolving truth.
Over the past decade, Nour has showcased her work in art exhibitions across Lebanon, from Dbayeh to Batroun, Gemmayze, and Mar Mikhael. Alongside her personal practice, she teaches private art classes for children and continues to create custom and commissioned artworks.
Guided by instinct, emotion, and curiosity, Nour Keyrouz Makhoul continues to explore the boundless possibilities of expression, using art as her language of connection and discovery.
