Magda Malkoun, born in Lebanon in 1982 and currently based in the UAE, is a versatile artist seamlessly blending photography and sculpture in her creations. With 18 years of exposure to diverse cultures in the UAE, Magda employs various materials and textures to craft both figurative and abstract art, drawing inspiration from the transformative strength of humanity and the theme of inclusion.

Her distinctive style involves meticulously organized photo collages that come together to form captivating portraits. Magda’s artistic footprint extends globally, with collectors in Lebanon, UAE, KSA, New York, and France acquiring her works. In 2021, she received the Best Emerging Artist award at WAD.

Magda’s art has graced prestigious platforms such as Art Dubai Digital in 2022 and 2023, the MIA Art Collection Exhibition, and Gallery Arte Azulejo in New York, where her work was shortlisted by Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Notably, she showcased her NFT work at the Vellum/LA art gallery and earned a spot on their billboard in L.A. among 80 artists.

Selected for the UNESCO Art Camp Andorra in March 2022 and July 2023 to promote Sustainable Living and Peace, Magda’s work is set to be featured at COP28 in November 2023. Her artistic achievements have also been recognized by publications like Elle Decoration, Gallery Magazine, Marie-Claire Arabia, and Sayidati, further solidifying her impactful presence in the art world.
