the Story
The Revolution is a Woman is inspired from the same revolution Lebanese went through during 2019-2020, trying to change the constitution and elect a new government.
One picture made the news in which a woman got arrested by the army for defending herself by “kickboxing” an officer who was attacking her, and the following day, all Lebanese women took the streets of Beirut to protest and defend the right for women to also fight and be part of the revolution.
This piece is a top shot of a street filled with people coming together.
The choice of colors is gender coded on purpose to emphasize that point related to women.
