Beirut Explosion by Emilie Haddad

AED 25,000

the Story
Beirut Explosion is another scene of an unfortunate event that destroyed the heart of Beirut on a summer day in August 2020, due to corruption and as a result of a failed revolution.
This explosion was the biggest non nuclear catastrophe that destroyed a City and its people.
When staring at the painting, the dots look almost moving, which makes the fire look alive, and is a way of remembering that justice is not yet made.
The circles with their energy encapsulate new beginnings, which everyone hoped that explosion would trigger.
